This was a very Charlie-centered week.
He was happy, then he was sick, then he was getting better, then sick again.
And to top it all off, in less than 2 weeks he will turn ONE!
Where did this past year GO?

February 24: Charlie has his first piece of bacon. He likes it. Obviously. He IS a Sluiter.

February 25: Fever means he will stay home tomorrow. Poor buddy.

February 26: When these two are apart all day, they are inseparable in the evening.

February 27: I get flowers for no reason other than my hubby loves me.

February 28: Last parent/teacher conferences for this school year. Let the “lasts” begin!

March 1: It’s MARCH! And there is DAYLIGHT on my drive to work before 7am!

March 2: Baby Bird is sick again. Can’t shake the cough, snot, and low-grade fever. And SO SLEEPY.
As I type this, Charlie is coughing from his bedroom.
He is such a trooper when he is sick, but I just want him to be better.
Especially since I spent a big slice of time this week at Party City, the Zeeland Bakery, and Target getting things ready for his big FIRST BIRTHDAY PARTY in a couple weeks.
I mean, a year old.
Why yes, I will be an emotional weirdo for the next couple weeks.
