You would think a short month would FEEL short.
You would also think a short week would feel short.
Not so much.
I blame February.

February 17: no school due to mid-winter break. shoulda been a great day. Instead a dude pulled out in front of me on slippery roads cause me to ramp a snow bank. No damage to me OR my car, thankfully!

February 18: another day of mid-winter break. I can’t remember the issue, but his response to me was, “FINE. I WILL JUST BE LIKE A SANDWICH THEN.” Having kids is weird sometimes.

February 22: Blew threw The Fault in Our Stars and started this one. Trying to read all five of the titles I chose for my seniors Book Club project coming up in this spring.
I currently have a bunch of essays to look at, deadlines to meet, laundry to do, and homework to complete.
And I am sick of typing “February”.
The awesome thing is that as I type this the sun is shining and I can see March on the calendar.
There is light, people.
So is that the sun shining in the sky today? Why, yes, there *is* light…and if I remember correctly, March brings about a birthday for you, yes? It does for me and the hubs…so, at least there will be cake next month! 🙂 February has gotta go!
I sure hope so because I, too, am dying for Febtuary to be over.
And yes there’s a typo in that but my phone won’t let me fix it. Take that, February.
February. What is with February. Shortest month is BS. It feels SO long.
May you have sunshine!
I randomly picked that Mark Haddon book up at an airport how many years ago and found it quite fascinating. I hadn’t much exposure to people on the autism spectrum before, so it really helped me better relate to how they can struggle to interact with others. My heart also hurt for the boy’s father. Oh, boy.
February is the jerk kid brother of January.
