taking care of me FOR me

My friends hate me.

About Katie

Just a small town girl...wait no. That is a Journey song. Katie Sluiter is a small town girl, but she is far from living in a lonely world. She is a middle school English teacher, writer, mother, and wife. Life has thrown her a fair share of challenges, but her belief is that writing through them makes her stronger.

  1. i think i gained seven pounds when i was pregnant. two weeks after i gave birth i weighed twenty pounds less than i did before i got pregnant and last summer i was down to the weight of my early twenties, 125 pounds (although i have to say, those were some dark days, i really wasn’t eating). now, louise is 2 1/2 years old and i am back up to my pre-baby weight. time to get pregnant again? lol, yeah right, i’m done with all the doctor’s visits, procedures and surgeries which are necessary to get me pregnant and i don’t think i’m going to be one of those infertile women who magically conceive naturally after going through total hell to get pregnant with number one.

  2. Crap … I need to get pregnant …..
