Yeah, I didn’t read anything this week.

I was too busy making this happen:

It’s supposed to be 80 degrees here…in MICHIGAN…in MARCH…today, so I am hoping you all are having great weather too.  And I am hoping you can get out and enjoy it while I rest and heal.

Ditch reading today.

Enjoy life.

I do have this running over at Borderless News and Views today:  a piece called A Christian AND A Liberal? about how we have pretty liberal views, but still consider ourselves Christian…something that the conservative media seems to think doesn’t exist.

About Katie

Just a small town girl...wait no. That is a Journey song. Katie Sluiter is a small town girl, but she is far from living in a lonely world. She is a middle school English teacher, writer, mother, and wife. Life has thrown her a fair share of challenges, but her belief is that writing through them makes her stronger.

  1. Congratulations on new baby Charlie! Soooo cute! And? I really like the way you think. Or at least the “thinking” you share with us on your blog. Just saying. Have a healing, restful weekend and enjoy your new family of four! Lovely!

  2. I’d say that what you made this week beats any book out there. Charlie is one perfect, beautiful little guy. That pic is precious!! Haven’t read your other blog yet. Heading there next. Congrats again. I hope the rest of the Sluiter gang is doing well too!!

  3. Congrats, Katie! I’m so happy for you. Hope you’re healing well and getting as much rest as possible. Been thinking of you lots and saying a prayer for you guys. Charlie is adorable! What a precious gift. Xoxo!
