When I was about 20 weeks pregnant with Eddie, we started taking monthly belly shots.
See?
I remember thinking I looked huge. HA! Little did I know!
So this week, during my 20th week baking Charlie in the oven, we thought we should probably get going with the belly shots.
Sigh…
I am trying REALLY hard not to see all the “before pregnancy” weight that was put on this time.
I am trying to ignore how everything “filled out” faster this time.
I know part of it is that this is after a 10 hour work day.
And I am slouching.
And my shirt is pulling funny.
And…well…I am overly critical of myself.
The truth is this: I am growing a new member of our family.
And that is both beautiful and miraculous.
I need to be easier on myself.
I can worry about the weight in six months.
For now?
Grow, Charlie, grow.
You look wonderful.
You look great Katie! But ohhh I understand! I have a post coming up next week about all the “differences” with #2! I pulled up the pictures from #1, I am only 17 weeks but look 24!
You look pretty glowy and all that good stuff too me 🙂
It really does gain and show more quickly with the second one. No worries!
You look beautiful! So much excitement despite all the rest! I got bigger quicker with the 2nd but lost weight faster as I was running to meet the needs of two!
You look beautiful & glowing- just like you should! Everyone fills out faster with the 2nd & 3rd baby. Gosh, I think I was in maternity clothes with #3 before I even hit 10 weeks.
love the shirt and the hair color! looking good. 😉
You are beautiful
You look great! I love your hair too, it looks fantastic. Go easy on yourself, you are growing a person! That’s a lot of work.
You look great! It’ funny how the pictures in the frame behind you have changed 🙂
pish posh, you look amazing.
You look great! Grow, baby, grow!
Well, I think that you look just adorable! 🙂
I hated all of my belly pics from my 2nd pregnancy. I was tired, unkempt, and usually in my pajamas.
You look lovely.
Katie you look fabulous but I know exactly how you feel. I am 2.5 years post partum from my third baby and still have sencond baby pregnancy weight I need to take off.
But I will say that you definitely have the right mentality – grow Charlie grow!
A body remembers.
And it will remember to do all the things it is supposed to do.
And I like your hair a lot. That deeper color is really lovely on you.
And look at your rack! 😉
I “popped” early with this one, but I’ve stayed pretty much the same since the initial hugeness. When I was like 16 weeks I looked 22, but now that I’m 23, I look about the same as I did at 16 HA. Weird how that works.
I think you look wonderful. Do you feel fuller this time? You don’t look it in photos, but I understand. I feel more awkward this time around, but it’s been a rougher pregnancy so I think I might just be more exhausted this round.
I love your haircut, love that beautiful belly, love that SMILE!!!!
keep growing and GLOWING. xo
Grow Charlie grow! You’re beautiful whether you can see it or not. 🙂 Also, I love that you took the picture in the same place so that we can see how the pictures on your wall have changed!
I think all pregnant women look amazing!! You are no exception. And yes, grow, little Charlie, grow!!
You are beautiful, mama. 🙂
