My name is Kate.

I have a blog called Sluiter Nation where I write about my search for my voice now that I am a 30-something mom, wife, teacher, miscarriage survivor, PPD survivor, and just…well…LIFE survivor.

I am also one of the hosts of The Red Dress Club, a virtual writing community which means I spend a day or two every week writing memoir-type content on Sluiter Nation and at least one day a week providing content for The Red Dress Club.

Then there is my book blog, Katie’s Bookcase.

And my memoir/creative writing blog, Exploded Moments.

My blogging life is growing and changing, specifically for my main, personal blog, Sluiter Nation.

I don’t have as much time as I would like to put up posts promoting handmade shops that I love and believe in.

I don’t have much time as I would like to do giveaways to thank my readers.

But these things are very VERY important to me.

So this site was born.

It is devoted to the handmade shops that have believed in me and made Sluiter Nation possible.

And it is dedicated to bringing pretty things to my readers.

Every post I do here will be linked to from Sluiter Nation and will be promoted through my personal twitter account and Sluiter Nation fanpage.
