Sluiter Nation is more than just a blog…it has extended to being my classroom.
My students love to be a part of Sluiter Nation. It helps then feel a part of something.
We even order T-shirts each year.
The school district I work in is amazing and awesome, but we don’t have a ton of funding.
Because I teach mostly Spanish classes, I love to do projects to help us learn vocabulary and cultural stuff.
we made skeleton likenesses for el dia de los muertos
And we have done lots of other stuff too!
The problem is, all the materials and costs for these projects comes out of our pockets.
there just isn’t money at school to fun them.
This is where awesome people like you have come in!
Sluiter Nation has had some Good Samaritans that have donated money and/or materials to make these fun learning projects possible. And we appreciate them!
If you would like to contribute, you can contact me at sluiternation (at) gmail (dot) com
For a complete list of our needs you can find my Teacher Wish List here. (teachers are listed alphabetically, so scroll down)
