Ok, so typed the title of this and then thought,
“that can’t be right. This was week 3, right?”
Nope. It was just the LONGEST first full week of the year EVER.

January 8: I didn’t want to tell the boys, but I was SOOO glad that we all went back to our normal schedule today.

January 10: I took the day off to take care of a million appointments. I settled at the end of the day with these socks that were a gift from a student. I love my job.
The week was good, just long.
Lots of great stuff going on in our lives right now and I’m having a hard time getting focused so I can blog about it.
I’m currently addicted to Stephen King’s 11/22/63 .
I find I choose it instead of blogging, writing, doing homework, or grading.
That is sort of a problem because it’s a long LONG book.
What are you totally into right now?

I totally understand what you mean about being addicted to 11/22/63. I was too. And I wished it didn’t have to end.
And brrrr!

I started 11/22/63 yesterday and love it!
Also: I’m a huge fan of normal schedules and Charlie’s stink eye is just the best 🙂

What was supposed to be the first day back to school, was a snow day for us too. And I was very happy that I bought several of those giant colouring books – including the Jake one. my girls coloured until there was no longer any white! happy mom.
I bought my husband Doctor Sleep for Christmas, and he just finished it. So I expect as soon as I done with my current book; I will be quite obsessed with that. Just wondering if I should re-read The Shining again first.
