Project 365 {week 42}

Week 42.

Ten weeks left of 2013.

Sheesh.

This week fall finally showed up; that was sort of awesome.

This week was hard with a loss in our family.

But as usual, it was also awesome.

October 13: The Bird is 19 months old today, and reading. Ok...looking at pictures. Still...the boy loves books!

October 15: A hard day. It's National Infant Loss and Remembrance Day and it's the day my niece, Bella was delivered still born.

October 19: Chili Cook-off and Euchre tourny to celebrate a great friend's birthday. I didn't win either contest, but I did have a LOT of fun!

Even though we had a rough few days, we still managed to have a great week.

We have so much wonderful family and many MANY awesome friends.

Plus we have each other.

We feel very blessed.

    • Bird’s face gives me the happy too 🙂

      Eddie has a VTech tablet. He LOVES it. There are games, stories, music, drawing…lots of great stuff. The one he has there, I won him at BlogHer (at the SweetSuite!) 🙂

  3. I’m so glad that you had a good week with each other, despite it all. These pictures show that you did what was essential – took care of each other. xoxo
