I have so many pictures from our cottage “holiday”.
So I am taking today, a holiday, to pass them on to you, oh internet.
Enjoy.

Cort and I had a date afternoon where we walked the pier in Pentwater, checked out the state park beach, and did some touristing downtown in all the shops.

Downtown Pentwater has a winery, the Oceana Winery. My brother and his wife were there when we walked in, so we had some wine-tasting company.

These two were inseparable–from each other as well as Jack from his Oriental Trading Company Catelogue. It was his weekend reading.
It’s definitely busier with two kids running around.
Gone are the days when my vacation schedule is my own.
But for now, that is Ok.
Happy Labor Day Weekend.
Looked awesome!!
And what is up with boys and hole digging?
Looks like you had a great time! I love eating outside and sitting around a fire. Makes me sad I haven’t gone camping at all this summer!
It reminds me of our camping trips, where we are roughing it, but not really. (We sleep in a tent, but use a propane stove and BBQ to cook and eat off plates and use cutlery.)
Looks like lots of fun and memories made!
Great pictures! I love a good photo dump. I also love Eddie’s card face.
I love a good old fashioned family trip like that. Such great times and memories. The kids are all so dang cute!! Loved seeing all the pics! 🙂
Great pictures of your vacation – thanks for sharing! I love a good sink-bath, too. 🙂
First, the only reason you and Eddie won everything is because I wasn’t there. Second, I’m sad there isn’t a picture of your mom walking off the dock.
OMG! I forgot to tell you! She didn’t walk off the dock BUT…she was helping my dad anchor the boat and she jumped over the side expecting to touch bottom, but it was actually a deep spot. She went down like a rock. Watch on, hair all wet, completely under. HA HA HA! The sad thing? Only my dad saw it since we were all already back up at the cottage!
