Project 365 {week 31}

So you know, it’s August.

The last month of summer break.

All of a sudden we are counting down and work things are getting urgent.

I both welcome and despise this.

So anyway…the week that brought us August…

July 28: Home from BlogHer to a lot of cuddly boys.

July 29: Bladder infection is back. Sigh.

July 30: Starting to get in my classroom as much as possible to get ready. Just three more weeks off.

July 31: They are doing some sort of maintenance in the dead end. Eddie is fascinated.

August 1: The Big Box of Swag from the Sweet Suite party came today! The boys are flipping out...especially Cort over that Kid Bop CD.

August 2: I love weddings.

August 2: I love weddings and seeing best friends.

August 2: More best friends. My favorite.

So it’s August and we cram to fit as much summer fun into the next three weeks.

At the same time I start to shift my focus to lesson planning.

My brain hurts trying to balance both states of mind at once.

  1. Hope you are feeling better and that bladder infection is finally over and done with. I have one more week of camp left and then two weeks where we have to get all the things for school done… It’s overwhelming looking at it from this end.

  2. I chuckled so hard at your comment about the Kidz Bop CD!

I love best friends too. And weddings. I’m so excited because we have THREE in the next 8 months!! 😀

  3. Sorry about the UTI, hope you’re all good now.
    Also, SWEET SWAG!

  4. Didn’t you just get out of school?? That’s how I’m feeling anyway. I’m not ashamed to admit that we’re big Kidz Bop fans here. And that is a lot of swag! Yay for good friends and being back with your boys!!
