About Katie

Just a small town girl...wait no. That is a Journey song. Katie Sluiter is a small town girl, but she is far from living in a lonely world. 1. You, me, Spain, BOOM!!
    (on your buns? Hah!)

  2. We have the same 5 passions. So cool!

  3. Just seeing the photos of Dazed and Confused and The Breakfast Club just made me smile. So, you’re definitely good at doing that! 😉

And did you just die laughing when Tina Fey was talking about her period and she expected? That was the funniest thing ever!!!

  4. I need to read Tina Fey’s book. I love her. And her version of Sarah Palin. Which says a lot because I cannot stand the real Sarah Palin. Anyway, let’s go to that place with the bar and zero children, I’m in.

  5. Dude, we need a honeymoon too. Seriously. No kids invited.

  6. “On your buns”. Ha! We need to take a real honeymoon, too. It’s been a complicated mess of trying to plan things since we got married. SOME DAY. And maybe to a place with a swim up bar and no children (actually, that one was totally planned. Damn snowstorm).

  7. Call me immature but that In your buns part got me giggling lmao!
Need to read Tina Fey’s book too.

  8. Hi, it’s me – your new best friend 🙂
Reading your answers confirms the friendship – especially with swim-up/no children bar and the honeymoon. And the movies. And just about everything else.
    (See, I’m dealing with it)

    • Yay! You visited my place! See? We were meant to be buds. Let’s rent old movies then go to a swim up bar. Without our kids.

  9. Can I just say that I LOVE how you listed helping people and making people smile as things you’d like to do. Fantastic list of fives!

  10. I so love that making other people happy made your list. And I so know what you mean about the writing something meaningful that really gets *heard*. But … I heard you and your writing helped me. I am probably not the only one, so maybe you can cross that one off the list as DONE.

  11. I love your lists because I love you!!

    And?

I REALLY really REALLY want you and your husband to go on a real honeymoon someday too. (:
