Project 365 {week 26}

This week started with Eddie’s birthday, and really, lots of the week focused on him.

It’s beginning to be very clear that as a daycare kid, he is used to constant stimulation.

His baby brother and I fall short of his expectations for “fun” lots of the time.

I’ll write about that more later.

Here are the joys from the week…

June 23: Eddie is Four!

June 24: Busting out the new toys.

June 25: The elusive hubby snuggle. It was probably interrupted after 10 seconds by a little boy.

June 26: Wednesdays are Farmer's Market Days. Today we saw the animals from the Critter Barn.

And don’t forget Google Reader is going away TONIGHT.  If you are reading this in Google reader and want to keep reading Sluiter Nation (I hope you do!), head up there  in my sidebar to where it says FOLLOW THE NATION and choose something new.

And for any of you who love Thirty-One bags…I am having a facebook party and YOU ARE ALL INVITED! It’s just like a home party in that you can win prizes and stuff, but like a catalog party, you don’t have to actually leave your house. This is the link to the event; hope to see you there TOMORROW!

  1. I know what you mean by stimulation the kids need but we just can’t quite give it, at least not in the way they’re used to. Commiserations!

    Love your yellow top.

  2. Needing to give the kids enough entertainment can be tough – I’m really glad that I got this summer camp job because the kids are having a blast and I never hear the dreaded “I’m bored, mommy!” Love how Eddie is “teaching” Charlie how to ride the trike. 🙂

  3. seriously EDDIE could you get any cuter?

    KATE, you look so pretty in Yellow!

    yay for SUMMER WEEKS!
