This week passed by so fast I almost missed it.
It was the last week of the marking period at the school where I work.
That means a flurry of end of the marking period tests and papers due.
It meant last minute attempts at begging for a better grade make up work and retaking of assessments.
It meant two half days with more to get done than hours in a day.
Oh, and Halloween was in there.

October 28: The carving of the pumpkins. One look at the guts and Eddie was like, “uh, no. you do it, mommy.”

November 2: finished off the week (and the marking period) with El Dia De Los Muertos skeletons in my Spanish classes.
We ended the week with a Saturday together as a family.
It felt good.
And it was what we needed to recharge to start another busy week.
Now excuse me while I go grade the rest of those tests that are due in the gradebook by noon on Monday.
Ack.
I love the pants-less knee-brace-wearing skeleton the best.
I will blame my grammatically poor statement on the time change. It’s all Ben Franklin’s fault.
I don’t scoop the pumpkins out. It’s just gross. And men’s work.
I love your dress!!
Also, pooping up the back is like, a baby specialty.
That dress is great on you! And your kids are stinkin’ cute. Hope this week is a little more “chill”. 🙂
