Project 365 {week 39}

Do I ever write these posts and say, “eh, nothing much happened this week”?

No. I never do.

And trust me, there is a whole post devoted to that cray fumbling in my head.

But until it comes out of my head and flows through my fingers?

You just get to see what it’s like…one picture a day…

September 23: So this is happening now. ::sniff sniff::

September 24: Mom getting (and passing) a kidney stone means cereal for dinner.

September 25: Eddie says this is my pirate outfit. Funny.

September 26: This boy melts me with those eyes on the daily.

September 27: And this guy loves to make faces for the camera. This one? scared!

September 28: I SWEAR I will take a pic of Jen next time and NOT what I was drinking. ahem.

September 29: Weddings are our favorite date because we can shake our booties!

I feel like I should say that I am exhausted and whatever, but this week rocked.

I had my boys, I had girls night with a beautiful friend, and I had a night away with my hubs and friends.

Plus I took a two hour nap on Sunday, so there’s that.

Yes, I wish things would slow down a bit.

But, man, I am enjoying the ride.

As crazy as it is.

About Katie

Just a small town girl...wait no. That is a Journey song. Katie Sluiter is a small town girl, but she is far from living in a lonely world. She is a middle school English teacher, writer, mother, and wife. Life has thrown her a fair share of challenges, but her belief is that writing through them makes her stronger.

  1. Eddie’s ‘scared’ face is adorable!!

And so are you and Cort, hee!

Glad you had a good week. May you have another fab one!

  2. The scared face is too cute. Hey I had a wedding this weekend as well. A trip to a pumpkin patch, a night by a fire pit.. My weekend was full and I am whooped

  3. TheNextMartha says

That week looks awesome. Love those wedding picts you have up on FB too.

  4. My boss made the comment the other day that he “hates when his kids say they are bored.” He can’t remember the last time he was bored because as a parent, adult, and home owner there is ALWAYS something to do. … I cannot get that thought out of my head now and its kind of majorly depressing! 🙁

  5. Oh pirate outfit…that is hilarious!

  6. Love love love!!!
