…and then things got weird

They were sitting so nicely together on the couch.

Eddie even asked me if I would take their picture.

Eddie can be so gentle and loving.

Moments like these make my momma heart swell.

So I gladly took out my camera to capture this moment.

And then…things got weird.

I think this one-minute video illustrates quite well what my future with these two holds.
Somebody pass the wine.

  7. And so it begins… One day (many moons ago) after bringing my second son home. (they are 26 mo. apart.) I had gone a few steps away to get a drink from the kitchen. I had left the two of them sitting nicely together on the floor. The baby in his boppy. Big brother crossed legged, quietly watching a video. From the refrigerator I could hear my older son say, “Come look mama, I stand on baby!” my eyes nearly fell out when I ran in to see what he was chattering about. Baby wincing beneath his brother’s feet! **Gasp** You need a weekly supply of wine from here forward. Drink up! It’s gonna be a bumpy, but wonderfully fun ride. LOL

  8. I have three sons, ages 17-13-3. It gets much weirder.
