33 weeks is brought to you by two goof balls and a lamby

33 weeks

That means 6 weeks until Charlie’s debut.

As of my appointment on Friday everything looks (and sounds) fine and dandy.

Plus I lost two pounds.

Which my OB is not worried about since I started with…um…extra.

I’m carrying higher and more in front this time.

Which means my shirts want to let the belly flow in the breeze from below.

Not my favorite thing, but whatever.

Sir Charles is training for the summer Olympics in there…I am sure of it.

My students just shake their heads and laugh when I walk past.

I think that’s a “big” joke, but I don’t even care anymore.

Big brother Prince Edward is excited…and concerned about what he will have to share ’round the Nation.

He should be excited….and concerned.

Our reality is about to change.

About Katie

Just a small town girl...wait no. That is a Journey song. Katie Sluiter is a small town girl, but she is far from living in a lonely world. She is a middle school English teacher, writer, mother, and wife. Life has thrown her a fair share of challenges, but her belief is that writing through them makes her stronger.

  1. Looking good! He’ll be here before you know it. I’m living vicariously through you. No more babies in this house.

  2. So exciting!

  3. TheNextMartha says

That is quite impressive. I can’t believe 6 weeks. That’s just crazy. <3

  4. I will never forget bringing my second baby home. It was like we were a whole family all of a sudden. No longer three but four! Seems like simple math but I remember being amazed by it. Then we went from four to five, but that’s another story 🙂

    Getting VERY excited for you!

  5. You look great!

  6. Ed said this morning he would share Lamby with Baby Charlie… and was almost sad when I told him he didn’t have to… something tells me he’ll change his mind on that one once Charlie is here.

  7. You look amazing, and that 6 weeks is going to fly!

  8. Looking quite lovely there Momma.. Everyone’s world is about to change & for the better : )

  9. Yay! Excellent picture. So so so excited for you. 🙂

  10. So. Excited. For. You.

Am I crazy? Or do you get cuter with each week?

Omigosh! Do you think I have a think for pregnant chicks?

    It hat could totally happen.

    And it could be awkward.

    But probably not.

So did the placenta go up? Did I miss that or something? 😉

  11. Carrying high is good! Cute pic!!

  12. So cute! All of you! Can’t wait to see one more cute face in pictures soon! 6 WEEKS!!

  13. So scary & exciting.

Prince Edward has no idea what he’s in for . . . both having to fight for attention all of the time and garnishing a best friend.

  14. Ack! This is not good. Just reading this gave me a twinge of baby fever. My husband would not be pleased to hear that…he’s not so keen on a #5. I have a feeling I’ll have to practice a lot of willpower-ing in the next 6 weeks!

  15. Omg that picture is so sweet my teeth hurt!!!! You are so cute and so pregnant. YEA!!!!and I’m lovin the lamby!

  16. You are gorgeous!! Can’t wait to see a picture of that sweet little dumpling. Sluiter Nation doth grow! 🙂

  17. God. We’re really close together in dates. But I keep thinking I still have a lot of time, and then I see you and your numbers and it’s a big ol’ reality check

  18. Wooh! Only six weeks to go, how exciting!

  19. You are so cute! And so is that goof ball and lamby.
