two more months to two

Could somebody please have a word with Time for me?

It seems he has stolen my baby.

And I would like to keep him small for just a little while longer.

  1. Last year at this time I had blonde curly haired boy with a paci. Time really does fly.

  2. Oh so cute!!
I miss the toddler days….and of course the baby days..

  3. My Lily turns 2 in September, so I’m feelin your pain. I really was so unaware that we had them that close together!

  4. So cute! My son’s 22 month birthday is coming up in a couple weeks. I didn’t realize how close they are!

  5. I’m right there with you! My little man turns 21 months next weekend. I can’t believe how fast time has flown by! Seems I was just waiting for him to say “Momma” and now he’s talking in sentences.

  6. I know this.
I have yet to find a way to freeze time.
When I find a way I’ll let you know.

  7. Just this week, I was bemoaning how time is taking my baby away and giving me back a toddler who is growing far too fast. Time for another perhaps? 🙂

  8. Adorable pictures! I agree, Time has taken my itty bitty babies from me too! That just makes my baby fever so much higher!

  9. I’m about 3 weeks away from little one turning 2 and I can’t believe. It seems like she shouldn’t be this old yet.

  10. Oh, I know! No kids yet for me, but I want time to slow down. I got married a little over a year ago and things have kicked into super speed since then. I can’t even imagine how it will increase after we introduce kids to the mix.

  11. I know. Today Chunky told me I was ridiculous…sigh 😉

  12. Oh, he is so very adorable. I know what you mean; D looked like such a little guy in his Easter clothes today. Where is my baby?

  13. Your baby is adorable! Had to have a “Listen here, you’ll always be my baby missy!” chat with my five year old today…I made the mistake of calling her baby in front of her older cousins. It does go by fast- just way too fast, sigh.

  14. oh my goodness, what gorgeous pictures of your big boy. I too have been bargaining with TIME to leave my sons “little” for a while. It seems that the moments are passing too quickly.

hugs to him and you. 🙂

  15. What a cutie! He looks just like you. Have fun planning his party and soaking up all of the memories of his last two months as a one-year-old!

  16. Stop it, he is getting so big. I hope you’re planning an Indy trip this Summer, Gage and Ed will really be able to throw down.

    Please?

    • I really want to…but Cort has that job now. boo. Maybe Eddie and I will have to make the trip by ourselves?

  17. Lucas turns two in 42 days (not that I’m counting), so I completely understand and I have a few choice words to say to Time myself.

  18. Dude. The aging thing? Makes my heart hurt. A lot. I want to be like Lucy in Peanuts and put books on their heads to keep them little.
